ii. Finding Your Way Around
Note: if you're familiar with navigating websites, you probably can skip this page. If not, or if you run into problems, here are the several ways you can navigate through the parts, sections, webpages on this site and other websites and external PDF pages:
First, note that there is a navigation bar at the top of every web page consisting of the names of each part of the website. Each name is a hyperlink that when clicked takes you the the introduction to that part and its sections. Note: at least the first time you're examining the site, you should take a look at these introductions to get a sense of the entire scope of the site. |
Second, to access a section, move your cursor over the part names on the navigation bar. A drop down menu will appear that contains the hyperlinks to the introductions to the sections in that part (try it now on top of this page, but don't click on any of them yet). Note: at least the first time through, you should take a look at these introducions to get a good summary of the contents of that particular section.
Using the navigation bar is the best way to move quickly around the site, because it lets you see the sections; then, when you run your cursor over some of the sections, you immediately see links to the webpages in that section. (You can also access those pages through the links found in the introductory pages to the sections.)

Third, some sections contain several webpages. Once you've accessed one, you can always move to the next one by clicking a button at the bottom of the page. On some pages you'll also find links to other pages on this website. When you click one you'll be jumping to a non-adjacent page; to go back to the page you came from just click the back arrow on your browser (don't close the webpage or you'll also be closing this website). It's exactly the same procedure whenever you use links to access other websites or my external PDF pages--just click the back arrow on your browser to return to the page on this website you came from.

So, once again, welcome! Please browse to find those things which interest you the most. At some point, I do think it will be helpful for you to look at the Introductory Sections 1-3, especially Page 2.3 if you (or family/friends) question whether it's possible to have "healthy" interactions between "faith" (which, for me, cannot be reduced to "religion") & politics.
